Have you ever wondered where all the Eco Luxury concept of Arumdalu Private Resorts were started? Where were all the innovation started and experimented before being used in Arumdalu? Well it all started in our Research Garden in Jakarta. Since more than 10 years ago, even before we discovered Arumdalu, we have started many researches in farming, gardening, constructions, and eco technology in our 1 hectare land in the middle of BSD City, a suburb of Jakarta (which is like a modern city by itself now). Many researches in our Research Garden such as breathing gazebo, ultra-quick grown productive trees, organic farming, Your Simple Garden precision agriculture, insulated stone, and many more, become the base principle on how Arumdalu Private Resort is moving towards the future.
After we launched Arumdalu Private Resorts two years ago as the first and the only eco luxury private resort in Belitung island, Indonesia, we have started to get huge attention and appreciation from local and international guests around the world. Many truly loves our concept of preserving the nature, working together with the local community, using local fresh ingredients, and developing local culture to a whole new level. This has become our lifestyle, and many becomes our biggest devotees and fans demanding us to do workshops and talks in Jakarta too. Realizing this positive impacts we have created, we truly feel that Arumdalu is not just simply an eco luxury resort, but a lifestyle too, a happy one indeed! We then decide, we need to have a presence in Jakarta too! But the question is “how”?

A quote says “The only way to predict future is to create it”. We truly want to spread our lifestyle as we want many people to share the experiences our guests have felt to everyone we can. We believe in the same way there are people in Jakarta that think likewise and we want to connect everyone together. Henceforth starting next month onwards we dare ourselves to step deeper into a new water, to open our Research Garden in Jakarta for public, and launch it as ARUMDALU LAB, as the first nature urban creative community space and Arumdalu Private Resort research lab in Jakarta.

Arumdalu lab is a creative space that is surrounded by greenery, both forest and farm of ours and also our researches as the main explorations there too. We dream Arumdalu lab to be a place where creativity is nurtured! From wellness workshops, inspiring talks, networking lunch, pop-up lunch, fine dining pop-up, aspiring start-ups launching, small wedding party, birthday lunch, cooking class, urban farming workshops, farming research, organic farming workshops, and many more up to you. We want it to be a space for people to meet, to be creative, to relax, to meet up, to collaborate, and to have fun!
For now Arumdalu Lab will be open only during workshops events and special invitation base (Charlie and the chocolate factory’s ticket style ;)).
