In 2014, Arumdalu Private Resort was launched after 6 years of researches & development in Belitung island to be the first and only eco luxury private resort in Belitung island. Little that we know, the passion for sustainable practice that Arumdalu did in the secluded blissful beachfront rainforest have made them to be a trendsetter in Indonesian hospitality & sustainability practice. In mid 2017, Arumdalu was awarded with a certificate of excellence by Tripadvisor, adding a milestone of awards Arumdalu has achieved. Learning about the potential in South Belitung, our founding father dreams to transform the last village before Arumdalu into a village where people can relax and work under coconut trees, a cool breeze, and with a natural beachfront sunset landscape. After set of researches and discussions with local community and partners, Arumdalu is set to launch a new exciting project. We call it Batu Penjuru Cultural Village, a collaborative village where they invite you to invest together in tourism infrastructure in south Belitung.
Batu Penjuru Cultural Village will become Indonesian first sustainable homestay village that is in co-partnership collaboration with Indonesian Ministry of Tourism. It is is designed to be a digital nomad hub and a collaborative space for everyone who are longing to have their private comfy office yet having a relaxing slow living beachfront holiday. This is slowly becoming a world trend to work remotely in a beautiful place & culturally strong place.

This worldwide phenomenon is proven by the latest development of Facebook Village project in Menlo Park, Samara Project in Tokyo, Cambodia Culture Village in Siem Reap and Culture Village in Dubai. Batu Penjuru adopts the concept of full-furnished hotel room second floor and DIY-business activities first floor, which can be transformed into shop/office/studio according to the owner imagination, creating a multipurpose area for business, collaboration, shopping and living.
The concept of integrating work and holiday in one place which will indeed suits the Millenials’ needs. Statistic also shows that in 2017, there are approximately will be 265 million local tourists spent their holiday locally which is a significant growth compared to the previous years. This analysis is strengthening the launching of this cultural village, which will be the answer of the new work and travel lifestyle especially for the millennial or generation Y. Therefore, we encourage everyone to take their part to invest, help the local and earn the benefit for each investment of cultural village. Are you ready to hand-in-hand together investing in the development of Indonesian tourism while making money & growing assets in the same time! “What can be better than owning an affordable beachfront cultural village house with stunning sunset view while having a double investment at the same time?” |
